Get me an agent

While literary agents exist largely to provide services to authors, they also assist publishing houses and others in expediting the process of review, publication and distribution of authors' works.
Quite a few well-known, powerful, and lucrative publishing houses do not accept non-agent submissions.
A knowledgeable agent knows the market, and can be a source of valuable career advice and guidance. Being a publishable author doesn't automatically make someone an expert on modern publishing contracts and practices, especially where television, film, or foreign rights are involved. Many authors prefer to have an agent handle such matters. This prevents the author's working relationship with his or her editor from becoming strained by disputes about royalty statements or late checks.

Author One Stop, Inc.

We help authors find great literary agents and publishers.

Currently, we have 28 people under contract with agents or publishers we've found for them. Recently, we helped a first-time author get an agent who negotiated a bidding war between 3 major publishers. Our client received a 6-figure advance.

With the exception of poetry, academic, and religion, we will work with your chosen genre!

Your manuscript pitched to top agents and publishers at Book Expo America, (BEA) May 29-31, the largest, annual trade show for the entire publishing industry in the U.S.

TIP:Agents and publishers love authors who are highly visible through social media, internet radio and speaking in public. The more you build your audience, the more you will tip the sale in your favor.
